‘Three good reasons to do the water challenge’ – by someone who has done it!
1. It’s a great conversation starter when out with family or friends and they order coffee and you order water…. Tell them why, and that it’s a fundraiser, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by their response.
2. It caused me to reflect on my ‘relationship’ with food and drinks (not particularly alcohol, but tea, coffee etc), and the fact that I was invested emotionally in what I drank (true). It did me good to know I would still feel happy and safe if my only drinks for 2 weeks, were water.
3. Now every glass of water I have reminds me I am stronger than I think I am.
