Reiki is a system of energetic hands-on healing formally assembled in the early 20th century by Dr. Mikao Usui. It works on a subtle level of spirit energy (rei – ki) that pervades every part of our physical, mental and spiritual body.
Ki is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Ki is flowing in everything that is alive including plants, animals and humans.
When a person’s Ki is high, they will feel strong, confident, and ready to enjoy life and take on it’s challenges. When it is low, they will feel weak and are more likely to get sick.
We receive Ki from the air we breath, from food, sunshine, and from sleep. It is also possible to increase our Ki by using breathing exercises and meditation. When a person dies, their Ki leaves the physical body. Ki is also the Chi of China, the prana of India, the Ti or Ki of the Hawaiians, and has also been called odic force, orgone, bioplasma and life force.
The great value of Reiki is it is guided by the Higher Intelligence, knowing exactly where to go and how to respond to restrictions in the flow of Ki. It can work directly in the unconscious parts of the mind/body which contain negative Ki-inhibiting thoughts and feelings and eliminate them. As Reiki flows through a sick or unhealthy area, it breaks up and washes away any negative thoughts or feelings lodged in the unconscious mind/body thus allowing a normal healthy flow of Ki to resume. As this happens, the unhealthy physical organs and tissues become properly nourished with Ki and begin functioning in a balanced healthy way thus replacing illness with health.

Your Reiki treatment will be with Sanjay who has been practicing Reiki since 1996.
Sanjay is a Reiki Master and is seventh in a line of teachers who carry the transmission directly from Usui.

What to expect
• A complete Reiki session is offered to a fully clothed recipient who is lying on a treatment table.
• Most commonly, Reiki is offered through light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner’s hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head and front and back of the torso. The placement of the hands should never be intrusive or inappropriate, nor should there be any pressure.
• Additional placements on the limbs can be done as needed (for example, if there is an injury or surgical scar).

Distance Healing
Have the energetic healing of Reiki sent to you! Distance healing can reach people across the room, across town, across the country or even to other parts of the world! Distance is no barrier. Time is no barrier – Reiki can be sent to the past or future. If you know you will be involved in an important activity in the future, and you know the date and time of the activity, Reiki energy can be sent to that time and be there to help you.
Requirements: a photograph of yourself/person to receive the Reiki (online is ok), the purpose for the healing and a postal address. Once the distance healing has been performed, notes taken from the session will be sent, a record of the healing process, usually 4+ pages.

House Blessing
Bring positive energy into your home, creating a sacred space for you and your family.
A house blessing involves the use of Reiki symbols, a meditation session and sacred objects. You may be present during the process or allow Sanjay to complete while you are out!

Reiki for Animals
Animals can also benefit from energetic healing when they are injured or stressed (eg. after a move), and especially at the time of death. Often our pets will hold on at the time of death as a way of not displeasing us. Through Reiki your pet can recover, relax or let go, knowing they are supported.
Sanjay is able to communicate with the animal at soul level, allowing you to understand what they are needing at that time.
