Phoenix Yoga Studios (PYS) Student Terms and Conditions

Covid-19

In the event where the government mandates PYS to close, all memberships and passes will continue unless we receive in writing (via email) a request to suspend or extend within 48hrs of a closure.

General Notes

  1. PYS reserves the right to refuse entry.
  1. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation with out notice. PYS is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.
  1. The door to the studio is locked at the beginning of each class for safety and security. No late entry is permitted.
  1. PYS is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.
  1. All purchases are final. PYS does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, user error, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason.
  1. All passes and memberships are non-transferable.
  1. Passes and memberships may not be shared. Anyone caught sharing memberships will be denied entry and forfeit their pass or membership permanently.
  1. Please late cancel if you are unable to attend a class to make your place available to others. Cancellation may be made via the online booking system or mobile app up to 2 hours before a class with out penalty. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the early cancel window (of 2 hours) you will be charged $15 for the class (this does not apply to Live Stream bookings).
  1. No entry is permitted after the class-start time. You may only leave a class early under emergency circumstances, as the building is located for safety and security during class.
  1. Gift cards can be redeemed for classes, memberships or products. They are not redeemable for cash.
  1. In attending classes at PYS, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against PYS or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
  1. Fees may increase from time to time to reflect increases in costs.
  1. Please arrive at least ten minutes before class, as there is no late admittance. The studios are open 10 minutes before class start times.
  1. Check-in at reception for all classes.
  1. No personal belongings in the Yoga studios other than water and towel. There are pigeon holes in the Yoga studios for small items such as keys, wallets and phones. Please ensure that your phone is switched to airplane mode, or completely off.
  1. No glass water bottles.
  1. Listen carefully to the teacher’s instructions.
  1. You may lie down at any time to take rest, but commit to staying in the room for the entire class.
  1. If you have hired a mat please wipe it down with products provided and also the space surrounding your mat if you have sweated a bit.

14 Day Intro - Single

1. The ’14 Day Intro – Single’ allows you access to unlimited scheduled yoga and meditation classes, excluding guest teachers, workshops, retreats, teacher training or other special events.

2. Available to new students to PYS only. Your permanent address must be within 20kms from the studio.

3. Only one Intro Membership per person.

4. The ’14 Day Intro – Single’ is valid for 14 consecutive days as stated on purchase. The activation date is the date of the first class booked or attended on the pass. Must be activated within 6 months of purchase date.

5. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on the ’14 Day Intro – Single’ for any reason.

6. This membership may not be shared or transferred for any reason at any time. Anyone sharing memberships and does so expressly without the consent of PYS will be denied all future entry and forfeit their membership.

7. Booking etiquette: Please late cancel if you are unable to attend a class to make your place available to others. Cancellation may be made via the online booking system or mobile app (see website under YOGA) up to 2 hours before a class without penalty. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the early cancel window (of 2 hours) you will be charged $15.

8. No entry is permitted after the class start time and leaving class early is strongly discouraged.

14 Day Intro - Buddy

1. The ’14 Day Intro – Buddy’ allows You and your Buddy (friend or family member) access to unlimited scheduled yoga and meditation classes, excluding guest teachers, workshops, retreats, teacher training or other special events.

2. Available to new students to PYS only. Your permanent address must be within 20kms from the studio.

3. Only one Intro Membership per person.

4. The ’14 Day Intro – Buddy’ is valid for 14 consecutive days as stated on purchase. The activation date is the date of the first class booked or attended on the pass (by either You or your Buddy). Must be activated within 6 months of purchase date.

5. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on the ’14 Day Intro – Buddy’ for any reason.

6. This membership may not be shared or transferred for any reason at any time. Anyone sharing memberships and does so expressly without the consent of PYS will be denied all future entry and forfeit their membership.

1 Class

  1. Single classes expire in 6 months of purchase.
  1. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.

Cancellation may be made via the online booking system or mobile app up to 2 hours before a class with out penalty. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the early cancel window (of 2 hours) you will forfeit the cost for the class.

10 & 20 Class

  1. Validity: These passes give you 10 or 20 yoga classes on the regular schedule. Does not include courses or special events. This pass expires in 4 months of the activation of the pass. The activation date is the date of first booked class.
  1. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused portions of passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.
  1. Unused classes: Expired classes can be credited to another 10 or 20 pass once it is purchased (passes much be the same). Credit will only be applied if you have contacted us within 7 days of your pass expiring.
  1. Booking etiquette: Please late cancel if you are unable to attend a class to make your place available to others. Cancellation may be made via the online booking system or mobile app up to 2 hours before a class with out penalty. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the early cancel window (of 2 hours) you will forfeit the cost for the class from your pass.
  1. If you have added a donation to your 10 or 20 Class Pass, this payment will be used to provide funding for charitable organisations chosen by both PYS and sometimes students. These organisations will be within Australia, but may provide services outside Australia. This payment is non-refundable.

HAPPY 1 Class/Week Membership

1. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation with out notice. PYS is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

2. The minimum term is 4 consecutive weeks (28 days). No suspensions within the first 4 weeks.

3. Fees: HAPPY 1 Class/Week is $92 on an autopay schedule every 28 days. This allows you 4 yoga classes and 4 meditation classes per 28 days, accessing regularly scheduled classes in Studio 1 and Studio 2. This membership excludes guest teachers, workshops, retreats, teacher training or other special events.

Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per 28 days via a third party biller MindBody Payments. No additional transaction fees are charged for auto-debits.

It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the auto-debit. Should a payment be declined for any reason, PYS reserves the right to process payment at anytime to settle any debt owed. If auto-debit payments fail, PYS may in its absolute discretion cancel the membership.

4. PYS is in no way responsible for additional bank fees that you may incur from your bank. Bank fees are under the terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between you and your bank.

5. Unused classes: Unused classes will roll over for a period of 12 weeks, as long as you have a continuous, active membership.

6. At the end of 4 weeks: After 4 consecutive weeks, the membership will automatically continue on a 28 day basis until you opt to terminate the membership. Membership termination may be done online via your account at anytime:

  • Go to https://phoenixyogastudios.com.au/cancel-my-membership
  • Log into your account. Click on MY INFO, and then ‘Account’.
  • Scroll to ‘Autopays’ section and click on ‘Terminate’ next to the membership you wish to terminate. Be sure to choose the FUTURE DATED autopay.
  • Confirm termination. This will not effect your current active period.

Terminations will not be accepted via Facebook, phone, email or any other medium.

7. Suspensions: After the first 4 weeks of this membership, the membership may be suspended via a written request via email to hello@phoenixyogastudios.com.au for a minimum of one week (7 days). Suspensions must be made in 7-day increments only. i.e. 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks – maximum 12 weeks per year. Phoenix Yoga Studios cannot pro-rate day usage. We require up to 7 days notice prior to the suspension date request. Suspensions will not be accepted via Facebook, phone or any medium other than email.

HAPPIER 2 Class/Week Membership

1. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation with out notice. PYS is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

2. The minimum term is 4 consecutive weeks (28 days). No suspensions within the first 4 weeks.

3. Fees: HAPPIER 2 Class/Week is $156 on an autopay schedule every 28 days. This allows you 8 yoga classes and 8 meditation classes per 28 days, accessing regularly scheduled classes in Studio 1 and Studio 2. This membership excludes guest teachers, workshops, retreats, teacher training or other special events.

Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per 28 days via a third party biller MindBody Payments. No additional transaction fees are charged for auto-debits.

It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the auto-debit. 2. The minimum term is 4 consecutive weeks (28 days). No suspensions within the first 4 weeks.

3. Fees: HAPPIEST Unlimited Class/Week is $220 on an autopay schedule every 28 days. This allows you unlimited yoga and meditation classes per 28 days, accessing regularly scheduled classes in Studio 1 and Studio 2. This membership excludes guest teachers, workshops, retreats, teacher training or other special events.

Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per 28 days via a third party biller MindBody Payments. No additional transaction fees are charged for auto-debits.

TOTAL BLISS Unlimited Membership

1. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation with out notice. Phoenix Yoga Studios (PYS) is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

2. The minimum term is 7 payments (28 consecutive weeks). No suspensions within the first 4 weeks.

3. Fees: TOTAL BLISS Unlimited is $156 on an autopay schedule every 28 days. This allows you unlimited yoga and meditation classes per 28 days, accessing regularly scheduled classes in Studio 1 and Studio 2. This membership excludes guest teachers, workshops, retreats, teacher training or other special events.

Membership fees will be charged to your credit card or bank account once per 28 days via a third party biller MindBody Payments. No additional transaction fees are charged for auto-debits.

6. Suspensions: After the first 4 weeks of this membership, the membership may be suspended via a written request via email to hello@phoenixyogastudios.com.au for a minimum of one week (7 days). 7. Early Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your membership at any time. However, if you terminate before the initial 28 weeks, the termination fee is 25% of remaining contract plus $50 admin fee. If you used a coupon when signing up to TOTAL BLISS membership, you will also be charged the difference between your discount and full price eg. $50 if you used a $50 coupon.

Self-Care

  1. Self-Care purchases (including Ayurvedic Nutrition, Counselling, Fascia Restructuring, Private Yoga, Reiki, Spiritual Coaching, Vedic Astrology) expire in 3 months of purchase. Gift Cards for Self-Care sessions expire in 6 months of purchase.
  1. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.
  1. Booking etiquette: Please book before 48hours of the time you wish to receive your Treatment.
  1. Cancellations: Must be made prior to 24hours of your booking time to organise a rescheduling. If a cancellation is made within the 24hours of your booking PYS reserves the right to deny a reschedule or refund of the service.

Gift Cards

  1. All Gift Cards expire 6 months from the date of purchase.
  1. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.
  1. Booking etiquette: Please book before 24hours of the time you wish to receive your service for yoga, and 48hrs for Self-Care.
  1. Cancellations: Must be made prior to 24hours of your booking time to organise a rescheduling. If a cancellation is made within the 24hours of your booking PYS reserves the right to deny a reschedule or refund of the service.

ClassPass

1. ClassPass is available to students who have not been to PYS. If you have already attended PYS and book through ClassPass, your booking will be cancelled.

2. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.

3. You can use ClassPass for 2 months to attend regular scheduled classes at PYS. Following this time, if you book through ClassPass your booking will be cancelled. However we do encourage you to purchase classes directly from our website (Pricing). All options are available except for the 14 Day Trial offers.

1. YogaHive is available to students who have not been to PYS. If you have already attended PYS and book through YogaHive, your booking will be cancelled.

2. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.

3. You can use YogaHive to attend one regular scheduled class at PYS. Following this time, if you book through YogaHive your booking will be cancelled.
