Why I love what I do

Yoga is inclusive of everyone – no matter your gender, race, age, socioeconomic background, or cultural identity. If you have a body, you can practice yoga! It is so much more than physical exercise and stretching. Yoga transcends beyond the mat.

Yoga has helped me align with my higher self and work towards being the best version of me. It has given me a sense of calm and tools to navigate my busy family life. When I practice, I feel connected to my breath, body and spirit. I love helping others achieve the same feeling.

Biography

Jenny Edwards started practicing yoga in 2007 as a teenager for the physical benefits. After joining a yoga studio, she developed a consistent practice and realised there were psychological and spiritual benefits too.

In 2015, she undertook her first teacher training at Australia Yoga Academy to deepen her knowledge of yoga. After a few years, Jenny decided she wanted to share her love of yoga with others and completed her second teacher training at Power Living Yoga in 2021 with the intention to teach.

Jenny enjoys finding balance between teaching and family life as a mum of 3. She considers herself forever a student of yoga and is always learning and evolving.
