Sanjay has been working with others since the age of 14, starting as a music teacher. He is a practicing Reiki Master, and Yoga and Meditation teacher since 2003. Completing a range of retreats and studies in Mahayana Buddhism, he brings a unique approach to the counselling setting. What is Counselling?
A counsellor is a trained, objective professional with whom you can build a healing and trusting relationship.
Counselling is a process of talking about and working through your personal problems with a counsellor. The counsellor helps you to address your problems in a positive way by helping you to clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies and increase self-awareness.
What is Therapy?
Therapy is the process of meeting with a counsellor or psychotherapist for the purpose of resolving problematic behaviours, beliefs, feelings and related physical symptoms. Therapy uses an interpersonal relationship to help develop the client’s self-understanding and to make changes in his or her life.
The focus is on specific problems, changes in life adjustments, fostering the client’s wellbeing, restructuring of the personality or self and the development of insight.
